Cali Bubba’s History, Appearances & Terpenes
BestBudz presents you Cali Bubba (70% Indica/30% Sativa). A crossbreed between Bubba Kush x Cali Kush, this indica-dominant strain finds itself among the favourites. The name Cali Bubba (or California Kush) describes at least two distinct strains in wide circulation — and ironically, neither was produced in California. One is a balanced pure indica created by the Netherlands-based company Sumo Seeds. The other is an indica-leaning hybrid bred by Anesia Seeds from Spain.
Cali Bubba showcases tight, medium-large buds with orange and green highlights of hair and frost-like, white sprinkles. The flower will appear with the color light green mixed with a light ice type blue. As a bonus, it has trichomes scattered throughout. The aroma of the buds themselves are a fruity and somewhat citrusy smell, mixed with dark coffee undertones. All of which are present in the taste of the smoke. It contains and delivers a rich flavour profile, with a sweet hash-like aroma from the Bubba and a fruity, candy-like note from Cali Kush. When smoking Cali Bubba, spiciness replaces the fruity smell, and the coffee aroma is much more prominent.
The side effects are nice and balanced, leaving you feeling happy, lazy, and sleepy but without giving you couchlock. Whilst it is mostly used for stress medically, its seen a lot of use to treat insomnia, pain, nausea, anxiety, and depression. The high will leave you in a relaxed state, easing tension, aches, and pains throughout the body while simultaneously elevating mood. Some have experienced bouts of the giggles when consuming this strain.
